Shannon has been a part of the team since the beginning of the year and has adapted quite well with all the craziness covid-19 has thrown at us. Shannon is an all-rounder; you may see her in the surgery nursing for the dentists or on the front desk organising appointments. Here is a bit about Shannon for you to get to know her a little better.
What is your role at Fullarton Park Dental?
I’m primarily a Dental nurse for Samuel, Greta and Michael, although I do spend some time on the front desk on occasions too.
How long have you been a member of the team?
I’ve been a member of Fullarton Park Dental for five months now.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I enjoy making patients feel comfortable and feel less anxious, as well as meeting and talking to different people.
What does an ideal Sunday look like for you?
An ideal Sunday for me is a coffee and a beach walk with my dog Diesel, and dinner at my grandmas too!
Favourite holiday destination?
I haven’t been on a holiday in years so it’s hard to say.
What’s a special skill or hidden talent you have that not many people know about?
I did taekwondo for nearly fifteen years.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
I’d like to know how to stop animal abuse as well as help to save the environment.
What’s one thing that you’re excited about that is coming up in 2020?
I’m excited for when winter ends. I hate the cold weather!
